Happy Dogs Come to Wags!
Wags does not accept aggressive dogs. Only happy, friendly dogs!

Your dog will be playing with dogs that have been tested for good behavior. We innovated the canine group play concept in Norfolk with a select group of dogs in 2005. Today we are still very particular about the dogs that come to Wags. All Wags dogs are well mannered, spayed or neutered and have up-to-date immunizations.

No charge for assessment for active military!

Enrolling Your Dog at Wags

All dogs must be at least 15 weeks of age or older. All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.
We do not accept American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers or similar breeds.

Only Healthy Dogs Can Come to Wags!
Owners must submit written proof of current DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations. Rabies shots are required for puppies over 4 months of age.
All dogs must be in good health and free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Owners must certify that their dog(s) have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days before admission to WAGS.

Only Good Dogs Can Come to Wags!
All dogs must be non-aggressive. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or other dogs. All dogs will be evaluated for their social behavior before admittance to WAGS. Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.

The Wags Assessment and Screening Procedure
All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved Pet Care Agreement on file. Additional requirements are in the Wags Pet Care Agreement which is available at Wags or here: Wags Enrollment/Pet Care Agreement (Adobe PDF)
There will be a one-time, $10.00 non-refundable screening fee. No Charge For Military or if you purchase a pass.
The screening is required and takes up to an hour. There are several Starbucks, great restaurants and interesting shops nearby to help pass the time. Hey! We're in Ghent, the coolest part of Norfolk.
